Moving home is often a time when you may want to dispose of existing electrical goods or furniture in your current home. Maybe your existing furniture will not fit into your new home or your new kitchen has integrated appliances. Perhaps you just want to ring the changes! However, it often means that there are large items that will not be going to your new home and cannot be left behind for the new owner to sort out. Often these items are too large to go into a family car and you face the problem of how to responsibly dispose of them. This is something we can help you with – we can transport such items to an approved waste disposal site around the time of your removal. Just one less hassle to worry about!

Please inform our Surveyor if you will require this service and detail the items that will be included.

* A deposit will be taken and refunded when all boxes are returned within one calendar month of your move. A charge will be made for packing materials (provided by us) which contain items that are moved into storage or out of the Berkshire area. A minimal charge for bubble wrap, tissue and tape.

We can estimate the size of the storage unit required and obtain competitive quotations from selected storage companies in your area and submit them for your review.

We use storage companies that provide secure and monitored storage facilities and most of our preferred storage suppliers have self access by appointment. We will provide this service FREE of charge.

               

If SmoothMove UK is not completing your packing and your possessions are being moved into storage please ensure that the packing materials you use are strong enough to be stacked. We request that you do not pack boxes with excessive weight or overfill boxes.

We can provide tape, bubble wrap, tissue etc. at a very competitive price. Please ensure you clearly mark the boxes with details of the contents and the room where the box will ultimately be moved to in your new home.

We suggest that you do not leave personal documents in storage.
